Hello Dance Families!
We welcome you to the Maralee's Dance Family!
We know some of you may have started in September or may just be joining us. When you first enrolled, your first payments would have included your Enrollment fee and two September classes. (Some of you may not have set up a payment on your account so there may be a balance that is still due from September.)
We want to be sure you have selected your monthly Auto Payment Date to process each month. (You can choose your payment date of the following: 5th, 15th or 20th). You can cancel, change or update your payment information right in your family portal.
To get your auto payment set up: Go to your personal family portal you created to enroll. Open the portal, then choose from your selections from the top left corner drop down lines, look for edit payment on file. Input the card you want to use for your monthly tuition and continue through check out. BE SURE TO SELECT YOUR PAYMENT DATE. Only pay if you still have a balance from your Enrollment fee and September Tuition. You can change the total amount due to any amount you may need to pay. We will then process your monthly payment on your selected date. October 5th will be our first Automatic Payment Process.
As a reminder; some of our multi-discounts will need to be hand keyed in. Any time you have questions feel free to reach out to Tammy (503-655-6160), as she handles all the financials.
We invite you to explore your portal and become familiar with your dance portal As the year progresses, you will receive monthly newsletters, costume information, and performance information during the season. You may view your dancers’ class day and times, upload their picture and add/drop classes anytime. We require at least a 30 day notice to drop any classes for future charges. You will be responsible for any costumes, shoes, or items that may have already been ordered. Some items we may be able to reuse and place back into our stock, and if so you will then have no charge.
*Please Note: For those of you who have selected to have auto payments dates, you will receive your tuition at the discounted amount. You can choose 5th, 15th , or 20th of each month. On the 30th we will invoice those who may still have balances due and then process any balances on the account.
Maralee's Dance Square Boutique: All dancewear, tights, and shoe orders will be charged through and/or invoiced via our Maralee's Square Boutique. Our Maralee's Square Boutique helps us with inventory and should be paid from this site, you may pay via credit/debit card or stop by with cash or check to pay. (Paying by cash and check saves Maralee’s from processing fees.) You also have an option to save your payment information for future invoices. *After 30 days: If your invoice has not been paid, we will then transfer any charges to your family portal and immediately process your payment to close your active Square invoice.
Maralee's Dance 2023-24 Student/Parent Handbooks will be released later this month and will be emailed soon. We have past seasons at the dance school for viewing.
OC Homecoming Parade Day:
This is a time for our town of OC to come together with our schools to celebrate our fabulous community, kids programs, etc. We will be closing the dance school on this day, and those classes affected will receive a refund for the class. Any student who may or may not be a part of our "23 Parade Group can join us. Even our parents to walk along and show your support for our local communities. We will have some space in the back of our truck for some little ones (sign up sheet at the dance school) Bring Candy!! You will need to have one of our Maralee's Dance Parade shirts (Purple) $ 20-23 Hair ties: $2.00
Meet at Gardiner Middle School at dance group meets 4:45pm & walkers by 5:00pm - Parade starts at 5:30pm - Parade Group wear purple shirts, hair ties, and black leggings.
For droping Off - Must Park at the church – no vehicles are allowed to come into the parking area of school unless in the parade. Parents of young ones will need to walk them over.
For Picking Up at the end: We must know if your dancer is okay'd to go directly to game (must have a parent of buddy to walk over we be dropped off in front of stadium) For the rest of dancers we would like for them to be picked up behind the school near the softball field 10th Street / Van Buren.

Monthly Newsletters: Watch for emails of our monthly newsletters. (We typically send them out on Sunday evenings. Always check Monday mornings.) Check Maralee’s Wix-Site; for parent emails posted on the site. (www.maraleesdance.com)
Fundraisers: We have optional fundraisers available, which can help you pay for extra upcoming expenses (i.e.): costume fees, dance shoes, or dance wear.

**If you know of friends or family members who want to start dancing, be sure to let them know to contact us an enroll soon. If they have dance experience we may offer another class that best fits them.

10/15 Jingletastic Costume Deposits Due $30 – You will see a deposit charge in your family portal, by each class your dancer is enrolled in. We encourage you to bring in cash or check for payment. (You may use fundraiser funds to pay for this).
10/20 Homecoming Parade - Dance Studio Closed (pls note date on calendar is WRONG)
10/31 Happy Halloween - Studio Closed
Downtown Oregon City's 2nd Harvest Festival:
October 21st 12 - 6 pm Liberty Plaza in downtown Oregon City
Main Street will be closed off for this event.
Maralee’s Dance will be hosting FREE Zumba Thriller Flash Mob classes for all ages (kids and adults) to come learn this fun routine! Help get the word out – anyone can participate! We invite & encourage all of our dance parents to come out for a fun-filled day. Learn a Zumba dance version of “Thriller” by Teacher Charisma. Dress up and attend Oregon City’s Harvest Festival & participate in either one or both “Thriller Flash Mob” events on that day. Approx: 1:30pm & 3:30pm

We would like to know how many will be attending - THIS IS COMPLETELY FREE – our way to partner with Downtown Oregon City & give back to our community.
